Abu Dhabi Men’s College currently offers a growing suite of Liberal Studies courses which aim to give students a well-rounded start to their academic careers as they gradually integrate into their programs.

During the first four levels of study students can expect to undertake courses in language skills in the fields of reading, writing & presentation skills and English skills specific to their program, as well as mathematics courses required for each program.

Alongside these language-based and math courses, the College also offers students a range of other courses aimed at broadening their experience and knowledge of the world around them. These courses seek to encourage students to increase their skills in critical thinking, creativity, global awareness, self-learning, teamwork and leadership. These skills are developed through the use of innovative and engaging lessons and assignments which allow students to explore different approaches to the subject matter.

Students are encouraged to learn through practical, hands-on learning experiences, building their own portfolios of interest and field trips. Recent field trips have included Emirates Palace and Saadiyat Island exhibitions, Masdar City, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Yas Circuit, etc.
