Major in Finance and Banking

This major is designed to provide graduates with high-level skills in both the specialised field of banking and finance and the general field of business management. Graduates will be capable of pursuing careers in the banking and finance industry as well as a wide range of business finance fields. The major blends a conceptual theoretical framework with practical applications and covers basic discipline material through to more specialised banking and finance requirements. The major also covers over 70% of the CBOK required for level 1, CFA, and provides pathways to various other external certification, in particular those covered by the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI).
